The Process
Switching your Retirement Savings Account (RSA) to CardinalStone Pensions is straightforward. Follow these steps to begin enjoying superior pension fund management:
- Confirm eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, including having an active RSA PIN registered with the National Pension Commission (PENCOM).
- Engage with CardinalStone Pensions: Visit our website, office, or contact us to express your intent to switch and get guidance on the process.
- Provide Required Documents: Submit necessary documents, including a valid means of identification, updated biodata, and other supporting information.
- Fill the RSA Transfer Request Form: Complete the RSA Transfer Request Form accurately. Our team will guide you through the process to ensure compliance with PENCOM requirements.
- Biometric Data Verification: Visit a National Pension Commission (PENCOM) approved Data Recapture Centre to update and verify your biometric data, if not already done.
- Wait for PENCOM Approval: The RSA transfer process is initiated, and PENCOM validates the request to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Switch Confirmation: Once the transfer is approved by PENCOM, your RSA funds will be securely moved to CardinalStone Pensions. You’ll receive confirmation of the successful switch.

- Existing RSA Holder: You must have an active RSA with a licensed Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) in Nigeria.
- PENCOM Registration: Ensure your RSA is registered under the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) and has a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- Valid Means of Identification: Provide a government-issued ID, such as a National ID card, International Passport, Driver’s License, or Voter’s Card.
- Completed RSA Transfer Form: Fill out the RSA Transfer Request Form with accurate details.
- Updated Biodata: Your information (e.g., name, date of birth, employer details) must be consistent across all records with your current PFA and PENCOM.
- Compliance With Transfer Window: Transfers can only be initiated during the open RSA Transfer Window as stipulated by PENCOM.
