MAHMUD SULAIMAN

Mahmud Sulaiman is an accomplished business leader and strategist with over two decades of experience spanning business development, market expansion, and organizational transformation. His career is distinguished by a consistent record of driving growth through strategic foresight, operational excellence, and people-centered leadership.

He began his professional journey in 2005 with Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), where he was part of the Public Sector Group and gained valuable experience in relationship management and stakeholder engagement. His deep understanding of business process management and change implementation has shaped his leadership philosophy, one rooted in efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Mahmud went on to make a remarkable impact at Pension Alliance Limited (PAL), where he served as Regional Head, North. Over eight years, he successfully led operations across 19 locations, including the FCT, managing over 70 staff and driving consistent regional growth through strategy execution and process optimization.

Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, Mahmud served as Head of Business Development and later Acting Managing Director at Guaranty Trust Pension Managers. In this role, he spearheaded transformative reforms that significantly boosted acquisition and funding ratios, restructured market operations, and delivered measurable improvements in team productivity and performance.

A lifelong learner and strategist, Mahmud holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Technology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, an MBA in Strategy from the University of Aberdeen (UK), and a Master’s in Islamic Finance Practice (MIFP) from INCEIF, Malaysia.

He is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK, and the Institute of Management Consultants (MIMC), Nigeria. He also holds the Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute. His executive education includes programs from the University of Cranfield School of Management, Deloitte, H. Pierson, Phillips Consulting, Lagos Business School, and IBFC Agusto.

Mahmud is an alumnus of the McKinsey Black Leadership Academy’s Management Accelerator Program, where he earned certifications in Adaptability & Resilience, Problem Solving, and Business Strategy.

Head Of Finance

BUKOLA JOSHUA

Bukola Joshua is the Chief Financial Controller at CardinalStone Pensions, where he oversees the finance functions. Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, he served as the Financial Controller at CardinalStone Partners Ltd, managing the financial reporting, budgeting and tax management functions for the group. With over 13 years of experience as a professional accountant, his areas of specialization include financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and tax management.

He began his professional career at Moadok Ltd and later joined Zenith General Insurance Ltd as a Financial Reporting Accountant, where he played a pivotal role in maintaining a robust financial system and ensuring compliance with regulatory returns.

Bukola is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lagos State University and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Lagos. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School.

Head of ICT

EMMANUEL P. ETIM

Emmanuel Patrick Etim is an experienced ICT professional and Database Administrator with over 17 years of expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft SQL Server solutions. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, complemented by multiple professional trainings in Computer and Information Technology.

He is a member of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and has held key positions in leading organizations. Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, he served as Head of ICT at Evergreen Pensions Ltd and Oak Pensions Limited.

As a software solutions provider, he played a pivotal role in designing and developing an enterprise solution for the Nigerian pension industry while working with Sybase Nigeria (now Covenant Visions International).

Head of Investment

JERRY NNEBUE

Jerry brings over 11 years of experience in banking, finance and investments. He currently serves as the Head of Investment at CardinalStone Pensions, where he oversees the management of various funds.

Before his current role, Jerry was a senior portfolio manager at CardinalStone Asset Management, where he supported the management of the firm’s investment portfolios, including separately managed funds and mutual funds across different asset classes. During this time, he also led the evaluation and appraisal of alternative investment opportunities, including real estate and infrastructure projects.

Earlier in his career at CardinalStone, Jerry was an investment strategist within the Research Department of the firm, where he jointly drove research and investment strategies across both traditional and alternative asset classes. In that capacity, he co-led the team to win the 2022 and 2023 editions of BusinessDay’s Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) award for the Equities Research Firm of the Year.

Jerry has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas, USA, where he finished top of his class. He is also a CFA Charter holder.

OLUWATOSIN Y ERUKUBAMI

A seasoned corporate communications and business strategy leader with over 18 years of progressive, cross-sectoral experience driving organizational transformation, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and elevating corporate reputation.
Recognized for her strategic foresight and execution excellence, she consistently delivers initiatives that enhance client experience, optimize operations, and support long-term business growth.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, an MBA in Marketing from Lagos State University, and an MBA in Corporate Communications from Rome Business School. A member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN), she has also completed advanced Entrepreneurship and Capacity Building training at Lagos Business School. Oluwatosin’s expertise spans strategic communications, lean management, customer
experience leadership, and enterprise-wide process improvement. She is highly regarded for her ability to align communication strategies with business objectives, navigate complex
stakeholder ecosystems, and lead high-performing teams with clarity and purpose.
A dynamic and impact-driven executive, she brings a unique blend of analytical insight, strategic
communication acumen and operational discipline, consistently positioning organizations for
sustainable success in an increasingly competitive business landscape.

Head OF RISK MANAGEMENT

MICHAEL AWOLIYI

Michael Oladisun Awoliyi is a finance and risk management professional with extensive
experience across pensions, asset management, telecommunications, manufacturing, and other segments of the financial services industry. He is currently the Head of Risk
Management at CardinalStone Pensions Limited, where he leads the firm’s enterprise-wide risk management function, covering investment, operational, regulatory, and strategic risk domains.

He has held several senior roles, including Head of Enterprise Risk Management, Strategy & Research at Goldenbridge Asset Management. Acting Chief Risk Officer at Norrenberger
Financial Group and key positions at Trustfund Pensions Limited, where he served as Team Lead for Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, Corporate Strategist, and Budget & Financial Analyst. Across these roles, he built and implemented risk frameworks, drove corporate strategy execution, enhanced financial performance, and strengthened regulatory
compliance.

Michael holds an M.Sc. in Financial Management from the University of Hull, UK, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Bowen University, Nigeria. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI, UK), and an Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI).

Combining technical depth with strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities, Michael is passionate about institutional growth and is committed to building resilient, sustainable, and well-governed financial systems.

Head of COMPLIANCE

OYEBANJI OGUNRINADE

Oyebanji J. Ogunrinade is the Head of Compliance at CardinalStone Pensions Limited, where he provides strategic oversight for regulatory compliance & governance functions.

He brings over two decades of professional experience, including 15 years in the
Nigerian Pension Industry, with extensive expertise spanning Investment Operations, Internal Audit and Control, and Regulatory Compliance. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in strengthening internal control systems,
enhancing compliance frameworks and promoting sound corporate governance
practices.

Prior to joining CardinalStone Pensions Limited, Oyebanji served as Head of Finance Audit Unit, and Head of Compliance & Regulatory Unit at Premium Pension Limited. In these roles, he played a pivotal role in driving regulatory alignment, reinforcing control mechanisms, and embedding compliance best practices across the organization.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic
Ede and is a PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Oyebanji has participated in numerous professional development programmes in business leadership, internal audit and controls, regulatory compliance within the Pension Industry, and Compliance Management, further strengthening his technical depth and leadership capacity.

Head of HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN

OGOCHUKWU ODOGWU

An HR Leader, culture builder, and talent strategist with 10+ years of experience transforming people functions across leading financial institutions. She is known for her work in designing talent development frameworks, leading organizational culture initiatives, strengthening leadership capability, and guiding HR teams through periods of growth and change.

She began her HR career in the banking industry, progressing through regional and group HR roles at Skye Bank and Polaris Bank, and later at ARM Pension. Most recently, she served as Head of Talent Management at AccessARM Pensions, where she implemented career pathing, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives that enhanced organizational performance.

 

Ogochukwu holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi). She brings strong expertise in Strategic HR Business Partnering, organizational development, talent management, and culture transformation. She is equally passionate about coaching, mentorship, and building high-performing teams.

 

In her role as Head of Human Resources & Administration at CardinalStone Pensions, she leads the company’s people strategy, oversees HR governance, and champions a positive workplace culture that supports excellence and innovation, positioning the organization for sustained growth as its most valuable asset: its people.

Head of OPerations

KOLAWOLE OMOLOLU

An accomplished pensions and operations executive with over 11 years of progressive experience within Nigeria’s pension industry. His
expertise spans contribution processing, reconciliation, investment refunds analysis,
regulatory compliance, and large-scale process automation and transformation.

He began his professional career at ARM Pensions Ltd (now Access ARM Pensions), where he built a strong foundation in pension operations. Before his current role, he served as Head of the Reconciliation Unit at PAL Pensions, where he spearheaded the revamp of the contribution processing and refunds modules, significantly improving efficiency and control.

He currently serves as Head of Operations at CardinalStone Pensions. In this capacity,
he oversees core operational functions, drives strategic process improvements, ensures SLA adherence and regulatory compliance, and leads high-performing teams focused on enhancing service delivery and operational excellence.

Throughout his career, Kolawole has successfully championed multiple automation and process improvement initiatives, significantly reducing turnaround times and strengthening operational efficiency.

He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organizational Behaviour from University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology from Covenant University. His professional development is further reinforced by certifications including CFA Investment Foundations, a Diploma in Operations Management, CISI (Introductory) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, Nigeria Institute of Management, and ACIPM.

Recognized with multiple excellence and leadership awards, Kolawole is passionate
about innovation, stakeholder collaboration, delivering exceptional customer experience, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

COMPANY SECRETARY

ANDREW ENAKHIFO

Andrew Enakhifo is the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser. Andrew is a consummate legal
professional with nearly 2 decades of private legal and corporate experience cutting across Litigation, Finance, Capital Markets, Investment banking, Asset Management, Compliance and Risk Management, Islamic Finance, Real Estate, Trusteeship and Corporate Governance.

He has been involved in the acquisition of 2 Commercial Banks in Nigeria and a PFA, mergers in the insurance industry, sovereign and
sub sovereign debt issuances running into over N700Bn, Trust Securitization and syndications running into million of dollars and a Multi Party multi-billion-naira Real Estate Arbitration as few of the projects he has worked on.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute Arbitrators, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and Association of Professional Negotiators and
Mediators of Nigeria. Andrew attended Ambrose Alli University and the Nigerian Law School. Before
Joining CardinalStone Pensions Limited he had worked with Lotus Financial Services Limited as Chief Compliance Officer, Company Secrtary and Head of Trust Services at PAC Trustees Limited and Deputy General Counsel at Panafrican Capital Holdings PLC and as counsel at Pluribus Unum Solicitors, Alex Uzebu & Associates and ABFR & Co.
