Mahmud Sulaiman is an accomplished business leader and strategist with over two decades of experience spanning business development, market expansion, and organizational transformation. His career is distinguished by a consistent record of driving growth through strategic foresight, operational excellence, and people-centered leadership.
He began his professional journey in 2005 with Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), where he was part of the Public Sector Group and gained valuable experience in relationship management and stakeholder engagement. His deep understanding of business process management and change implementation has shaped his leadership philosophy, one rooted in efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Mahmud went on to make a remarkable impact at Pension Alliance Limited (PAL), where he served as Regional Head, North. Over eight years, he successfully led operations across 19 locations, including the FCT, managing over 70 staff and driving consistent regional growth through strategy execution and process optimization.
Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, Mahmud served as Head of Business Development and later Acting Managing Director at Guaranty Trust Pension Managers. In this role, he spearheaded transformative reforms that significantly boosted acquisition and funding ratios, restructured market operations, and delivered measurable improvements in team productivity and performance.
A lifelong learner and strategist, Mahmud holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Technology from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, an MBA in Strategy from the University of Aberdeen (UK), and a Master’s in Islamic Finance Practice (MIFP) from INCEIF, Malaysia.
He is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK, and the Institute of Management Consultants (MIMC), Nigeria. He also holds the Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute. His executive education includes programs from the University of Cranfield School of Management, Deloitte, H. Pierson, Phillips Consulting, Lagos Business School, and IBFC Agusto.
Mahmud is an alumnus of the McKinsey Black Leadership Academy’s Management Accelerator Program, where he earned certifications in Adaptability & Resilience, Problem Solving, and Business Strategy.

BUKOLA JOSHUA
Bukola Joshua is the Chief Financial Controller at CardinalStone Pensions, where he oversees the finance functions. Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, he served as the Financial Controller at CardinalStone Partners Ltd, managing the financial reporting, budgeting and tax management functions for the group. With over 13 years of experience as a professional accountant, his areas of specialization include financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and tax management.
He began his professional career at Moadok Ltd and later joined Zenith General Insurance Ltd as a Financial Reporting Accountant, where he played a pivotal role in maintaining a robust financial system and ensuring compliance with regulatory returns.
Bukola is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lagos State University and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Lagos. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School.

EMMANUEL P. ETIM
Emmanuel Patrick Etim is an experienced ICT professional and Database Administrator with over 17 years of expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft SQL Server solutions. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, complemented by multiple professional trainings in Computer and Information Technology.
He is a member of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and has held key positions in leading organizations. Before joining CardinalStone Pensions, he served as Head of ICT at Evergreen Pensions Ltd and Oak Pensions Limited.
As a software solutions provider, he played a pivotal role in designing and developing an enterprise solution for the Nigerian pension industry while working with Sybase Nigeria (now Covenant Visions International).
Head, Investment
JERRY NNEBUE
Jerry brings over 11 years of experience in banking, finance and investments. He currently serves as the Head of Investment at CardinalStone Pensions, where he oversees the management of various funds.
Before his current role, Jerry was a senior portfolio manager at CardinalStone Asset Management, where he supported the management of the firm’s investment portfolios, including separately managed funds and mutual funds across different asset classes. During this time, he also led the evaluation and appraisal of alternative investment opportunities, including real estate and infrastructure projects.
Earlier in his career at CardinalStone, Jerry was an investment strategist within the Research Department of the firm, where he jointly drove research and investment strategies across both traditional and alternative asset classes. In that capacity, he co-led the team to win the 2022 and 2023 editions of BusinessDay’s Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) award for the Equities Research Firm of the Year.
Jerry has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas, USA, where he finished top of his class. He is also a CFA Charter holder.

OLUWATOSIN Y ERUKUBAMI
Oluwatosin Yetunde Erukubami is a results-driven executive with over 15 years of experience in corporate communications, client experience, and business strategy. She has a proven track record of enhancing brand reputation, driving customer engagement, and implementing strategies that deliver business growth.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, an MBA in Marketing from Lagos State University, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Corporate Communications at Rome Business School. She is also a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN) and has completed the Entrepreneurship and Capacity building training at Lagos Business School.
With expertise in lean management, strategy execution, and customer engagement, she is committed to enhancing brand perception, resolving client concerns efficiently, and fostering meaningful stakeholder relationships. She thrives in dynamic environments, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution to drive organizational success.

JOAN OLINKE
Joan Olinke started her career in the Pension Industry in March 2007 with the now Access ARM Pensions. She has valuable experience in Contribution Mgt., Benefit Administration, Client Services and Brand Mgt.
Before joining the pension industry, she had a brief stint in the oil and gas sector (with Vetco Gray Nig.) and the hospitality Industry.
Joan holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and B.A. English from Ambrose Alli University. She also holds a Diploma in Advertising from 02 Academy and a Certification in Outstanding Customer Relationship Mgt. from the Lagos Business School.
